“Sony’s flagship phone of 2013″
A 5 inch screen, quad core processor and a 13 megapixel camera. What more could a person ask for? That’s right, the Sony Xperia Z has all of this and more. As most would know, the camera on Sony phones have been phenomenal and with the Xperia Z being the flagship phone for 2013, a 13 megapixel camera is no surprise. Even the front facing camera is superior to others, with a 2.2 megapixel camera and HD video recording.
The quad core 1.5Ghz Krait processor is not anything special considering that quad-core processors have been around for a while. This time, Sony decided to include a microSD slot which was absent in the NXT series. The 5 inch screen features a Full HD 1080p screen with 441 ppi screen density which is much sharper than Apple’s retina display.
What differentiates this flagship phone from the rest is the fact that it is water and dust proof. Surround with glass from all four sides, its slim profile fits perfectly in your hands. While Samsung phones have rounded edges, Sony has opted for sharper edges, giving it a more refined look. This has been apparent since the Sony NXT series.
